Base Star Indonesia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain to join our team. As a Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our vessels, ensuring compliance with all regulations and maintaining a high standard of safety and service. This is an immediate opportunity for the right candidate to take on this crucial role.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, including navigation, cargo handling, and maintenance.,Adhere to all maritime regulations, including safety procedures, environmental protection, and crew welfare.,Maintain a high standard of safety and service, ensuring the well-being of the crew and the integrity of the vessel.,Plan and execute voyage schedules, including route planning, fuel management, and port calls.,Monitor and report on vessel performance, including fuel consumption, engine maintenance, and equipment condition.,Conduct regular safety drills and inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols.,Provide leadership and mentorship to the crew, fostering a positive and productive work environment.,Handle communication with port authorities, other vessels, and shore-based personnel as required.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Captain in the maritime industry.,Valid Master Mariner's License (Unlimited Tonnage) or equivalent.,Proficient in English, both written and spoken.,Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, including SOLAS, ISM, and ISPS.,Experience with electronic chart display and information systems (ECDIS).,Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.,Previous experience in the shipping industry, particularly in the oil and gas or chemical sectors, is a plus.,Valid STCW Basic Safety Training and Advanced Fire Fighting Certificate.
